Agamura is een geslacht van gekko's (Gekkota) dat voorkomt in het Midden-Oosten; in de landen Iran, Afghanistan en Pakistan.
Het geslacht Agamura werd tot recentelijk vertegenwoordigd door drie soorten, maar recentelijk zijn twee soorten tot het geslacht Rhinogecko toegewezen. Het geslacht Agamura is hierdoor tegenwoordig monotypisch en telt slechts een enkele soort; Agamura persica.[1]
