Italiano: Il più recente mezzo veloce della Polizia di Stato: la Lamborghini Gallardo, una vettura con un motore 10 cilindri a V di 5 litri con oltre 500 cavalli e una velocità di oltre 300 km/h. Grazie alla straordinaria potenza,questo bolide viene utilizzato per gli inseguimenti ed intercettazioni della Polstrada lungo le autostrade italiane e svolge anche un importante compito di trasporto di organi(infatti è dotata di un vano frigo nel cofano anteriore). Proprio per queste sue eccezionali caratteristiche,la Gallardo è affidata solamente a pochi piloti esperti ed addestrati(un pò come avviene per le frecce tricolori nel campo aeronautico). La si può ammirare durante la festa della Polizia di Stato che si svolge in Piazza del Popolo a Roma. Infatti in questa occasione è possibile avvicinare il personale specializzato della Polizia per chiedere qualsiasi informazione a tutela del cittadino, ed eccezionalmente è possibile entrare nella Gallardo per vedere da dentro questa SuperPantera. Due di questi esemplari sono stati donati alla Polizia dalla Lamborghini e sono in regolare servizio di pattuglia. La foto è stata scattata da me all'Auditorium di Roma l'11 gennaio 2006, in occasione di una manifestazione della Polizia di Stato.


English: The latest quick means of the State Police : the Lamborghini Gallardo , a car with a 5 liter V10 engine, which is capable to produce 500 horsepower and a top speed of over 300 km/h. Thanks to the extraordinary power, this racing car is used for pursuits and interception of the Traffic Police along highways Italian and also plays an important task of transporting organs (that is equipped with a refrigerator compartment in the front hood). Due to these outstanding features, the Gallardo is entrusted only a few experienced pilots and trained (much as with tricolor arrows in the aeronautical field). This can be seen during the feast of the State Police, which takes place in Piazza del Popolo in Rome. In fact, on this occasion you can bring the personnel of the Police to ask any question to the protection of the citizen , and exceptionally you can enter the Gallardo to see from inside this SuperPantera. Two of these specimens have been donated to the Police by Lamborghini and are in regular patrol. The photo was taken by me at Auditorium of Rome on 11 January 2006, during a demonstration of the State Police.
