Bruto nationaal product

Met de invoering van nieuwe internationale richtlijnen is het begrip bruto nationaal product (bnp) vervangen door het bruto nationaal inkomen (bni).
Deze richtlijnen betreffen het System of National Accounts 1993 (SNA 1993; UN, EU, IMF, OECD, World Bank), paragraaf 7.16 & 7.17 [1] en het European System of National and Regional Accounts 1995 (ESA 1995; Eurostat), paragraaf 8,94 [2].
