Michael Francis (Mick) Foley Sr. (Bloomington (Indiana), 7 juni 1965) is een Amerikaans schrijver en (halftijds) gepensioneerd professioneel worstelaar. Foley is momenteel actief in de WWE waar hij speciale gastverschijningen maakt.

Foley was als worstelaar bekend van World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE) en Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Hij worstelde onder de ringnamen Dude Love, Cactus Jack en Mankind en met deze ringnamen is hij ook gekend als de Three Faces of Foley.

Buiten zijn worstelcarrière is Foley ook kinderboekenschrijver.

Professioneel worstelcarrière

World Wrestling Entertainment

Hij hanteerde diverse ringnamen, waaronder Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love en Mrs Foley's baby boy. Elk hiervan wist hij een eigen karakter mee te geven. Hij worstelde bij verschillende organisaties waaronder International Wrestling Association of Japan (IWA), Extreme Mid-South Wrestling (MSW), World Class Wrestling Association (WCWA), Eastern Championship Wrestling / Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) en later de World Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE).

In de ring stond hij bekend om zijn vasthoudendheid en zijn bereidheid om zijn lichaam op gevaarlijke plaatsen in te zetten.

Ten gevolge van blessures trok hij zich in 2000 terug uit de actieve worstelsport, al treedt hij bij de WWE nog op in rollen waarbij hij niet actief hoefde te worstelen. In 2004 maakte hij zijn comeback door bij WrestleMania XX zijn eerste wedstrijd in 4 jaar te worstelen in een 'Two On Three Handicap Match" hij vocht samen met The Rock tegen Randy Orton, Ric Flair en Batista. In 2008 werd hij commentator bij SmackDown!.

Zijn kenmerkende wapens waren een baseballbat met prikkeldraad er rond en een sok met de naam Mr. Socko, die hij gebruikte voor de finisher "Mandible Claw".

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2008-2011)

Na 2 maanden commentator te zijn geweest besloot Mick dat hij klaar was met WWE en Vince McMahon en is toen met Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in zee gegaan. Tijdens Lockdown op 19 april 2009 versloeg hij Sting om zo de TNA World Heavyweight Championship te winnen. Hij verdedigde tevens zijn titel op Slammiversary 2009 in een King of The Mountain match. Hij probeerde hem tevergeefs terug te winnen op Victory Road 2009 van Kurt Angle. Later in het jaar zou hij nog het TNA Legends Championship en in 2011 werd hij ontslagen door dat hij een grap maakte hoe weinig volk een TNA House Show trok aan The Rock waarmee hij refereerde aan The Rock naar hun Empty Arena match in vergelijking met het weinig publiek er was.
