Please check the discussion pages (overlegpagina's) if you are in doubt about the contents of a given page. If you want to make a careful start editing in Dutch, try to expand some of our stubs (beginnetjes). Take care when editing someone else's work. Registered users can change the name of an article by using "Titel wijzigen". This method of renaming keeps the history (geschiedenis) of a page intact. Welkom, maar wel graag beter op de hoogte stellen

Beste Tamasflex,

In de eerste plaats welkom op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia. U bent hier al een poosje actief, zie ik, maar ik heb de indruk dat nog niemand u welkom heeft geheten. Bij deze dus!

Het wordt in het algemeen op prijs gesteld als een gebruiker zich even voorstelt. Dat kan op uw eigen gebruikerspagina, Gebruiker:Tamasflex. U kunt op willekeurige andere gebruikerspagina's ideeën daaroor opdoen. Kijk bijvoorbeeld op de overlegpagina van een willekeurig artikel en klik op de naam in de ondertekening van een bijdrage. U komt dan op de gebruikerspagina van die gebruiker.

Wel heb ik nog een dringend verzoek aan u.

Uw bijdragen lijken nogal eens neer te komen op het toevoegen van afbeeldingen. Dat is op zich prima, maar het blijkt vaak fout te gaan. Elke afbeelding moet apart worden geplaatst, dus niet in het ondeschrift van een andere afbeelding. Leest u de pagina Help:Gebruik van bestanden maar eens zorgvuldig na. Trouwens, de hele verzameling pagina's in Portaal:Hulp en beheer is interessant. Op Help:Alfabetische index vindt u een alfabetische index voor allerlei praktische vragen.

Verder zitten we hier op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia. Alle teksten zullen dus in beginsel in het Nederlands moeten. U lijkt nogal eens te vergeten Engelse teksten te vertalen.

Als u verder nog vragen of problemen hebt, kunt u die te allen tijde stellen op de helpdesk.

Hello Tamasflex,

As you know, there have been complaints about your recent contributions to the Dutch Wikipedia. HHahn has also filed a block request against you. Issues about the content of your images aside, it is in general not a good idea to make changes to the content of an article (be it textual or related to images) if you don't speak or understand the local language. In respect to HHahn's block request I would like to ask you to stop making such changes and to use the Talk pages instead. If you have ideas about replacing images to improve an article, make a statement about this on the relevant talk page. If other users agree, they can make the suggested change to the article. If you do continue to make controversial changes to articles I will have to block you. I hope you understand necessity of this arrangement.
