Progress of Theoretical Physics is een Japans, aan collegiale toetsing onderworpen wetenschappelijk tijdschrift op het gebied van de theoretische fysica. De naam wordt in literatuurverwijzingen meestal afgekort tot Progr. Theor. Phys.
Het tijdschrift is opgericht in 1946 door de latere Nobelprijswinnaar Hideki Yukawa.
In 2013 wordt de naam veranderd in Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics.
