Ralph McInerny

Ralph Matthew McInerny (Minneapolis, 24 februari 1929 – 29 januari 2010) was een Amerikaans detective- en sciencefictionschrijver . Een deel van zijn werk werd uitgebracht onder de pseudoniemen Harry Austin, Matthew FitzRalph, Ernan Mackey, Edward Mackin en Monica Quill.

Als schrijver van detectiveromans creëerde hij de figuur van Father Dowling. Hij was tevens professor filosofie, directeur van het Jacques Maritain-Center en professor middeleeuwse studies aan de Universiteit van Notre Dame.
