De varkensooghaai[3] (Carcharhinus amboinensis) is een haai uit de familie van de requiemhaaien.[4][5]

De varkensooghaai komt voor in het oosten van de Atlantische Oceaan bij Nigeria,[5] het westen van de Grote Oceaan en de Indische Oceaan (Golf van Aden,[5][6][7] Zuid-Afrika,[8] Madagaskar,[5] Pakistan,[5] Sri Lanka,[5] Indonesië,[5] Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea[9]) en bij Australië.[10]
