To be sure the poster is in the public domain, a search was done for original registrations in both motion pictures and artwork for the year 1936; nothing pertaining Celebrity Productions was discovered. When searching for Iwerks, a registration for an animated film, Two Lazy Crows, was located, but the owner of the copyright for this was Screen Gems and not Celebrity Productions. Celebrity Productions closed in 1936 when P. A. Powers was no longer able to bankroll the studio. There's no evidence that this material was ever under copyright.
