• Yellow Flowers in the Antipodean Room is de Amerikaanse titel van The Rainbirds.
• De herinneringsbloem geeft volgens literatuurplein.nl als orginele titel "The Carpathians".
• Ik heb de biografie van Michael King opgenomen in de bronvermelding in het artikel.

Ik heb een mail gestuurd aan het Janet Frame Trust met het verzoek om een foto vrij te geven ter illustratie van het artikel. Ter informatie is hier hun antwoord:

"I'm sorry but to my knowledge there are no photographs of Janet Frame that do not have copyright issues.

If anything posted on Wikipedia must be free without restrictions, we cannot post a photograph there as the risk is too high that someone then will use the photograph commercially.

Sorry I couldn't help, but fortunately there are lots of links on the Janet Frame entry that are only one click away from photographs of her on other sites that have copyright restrictions.
