Hello Frederico Leva. Please tell me, what's the point of your userpage? The link to the wanted articles (if that's what it is) could be of more effect at the Village Pump. Regards, Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 12:53 (CEST)

Yes, that's what it is. I don't like too much to write in English on village pumps, but if you write on the village pump about the list it will certainly be nice! :) Federico Leva (BEIC) (overleg) 11 okt 2014 12:57 (CEST)
Okay I'll do that. Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 12:59 (CEST)
Hang on Frederico. I'm trying to get Romaine's attention. He knows about these sort of projects, usually. Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 13:19 (CEST)
Hi Sander1453, What is the question? Romaine 11 okt 2014 17:00 (CEST)
Hello Romaine and Frederico. Am I right to assume that BEIC has material on or from all these scientists? And is that the reason that GLAM/BEIC is looking for articles on them? Or has there been an inventory of articles on a certain number of renowned scientists? In other words: why those people? Thanks, Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 17:32 (CEST)
Panels of university experts selected the most important texts of the last 3 millennia for their own disciplines, then BEIC got or produced high quality scans of those texts. The list contains names and basic information on their authors. Of course the library is still a work in progress, so not all disciplines are well represented yet; but what is already included seems certain to be of interest. --Federico Leva (BEIC) (overleg) 11 okt 2014 18:17 (CEST) P.s.: Thanks for the questions, I'm adding this information on Wikidata as well.

Done. Btw sorry for spelling your name wrong Federico. Regards, Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 21:39 (CEST) PS Don't thank me yet. Last time I put 20 scientists at the Pump for biographies only two were made :( Sander1453 (overleg) 11 okt 2014 21:43 (CEST)

No no, thank you a lot! Just talking with one interested person was useful, and 2 articles are infinitely better than 0. ;-) Don't worry about the name, I'm used to it with all the non-romance languages speakers. Federico Leva (BEIC) (overleg) 12 okt 2014 11:07 (CEST)
Allright, I'll do at least one, later. I want to do it:Meriano di Roma first. I got the idea yesterday in your list :) Regards, Sander1453 (overleg) 12 okt 2014 11:11 (CEST)

Grazie ;)[bewerken]

Hello Federico, thank you for your thanks for an edit I made about 7 years ago. What did you like about it? Apdency (overleg) 17 jul 2015 10:58 (CEST)

The focus on important things. :) Federico Leva (BEIC) (overleg) 30 dec 2015 19:39 (CET)
