I am afraid that this picture is more a picture of Auplopus carbonarius than of Pompilus cinereus. Auplopus carbonarius is very often used to cut the spider legs and carrying the spider taken by the back as on your picture. Pompilus cinereus is presenting a gey line at the bottom of each tergite and it is really easy to identify it in the field due to this criteria. I don't see such criteria on your picture. Usually it is really more difficult to identify a pompilidae on a picture.
