Overleg:Tatra 603

(Here's a photograph I took last month....)

Surely the direct predecessor to the T603 was the T600 "Tatraplan"?

(I do not trust my nederlands enough to change the entry myself, though.)

• Charles, you might be right. I took the information about the T87 being the predecessor from the german pages about the Tatra T603. If you are very sure this is not right, feel free to change it here and maybe on the german pages also.Thanks, --Davv69_overleg 7 jun 2010 14:49 (CEST)

• • I checked cs:Tatra 603 and saw both types mentioned as being the predecessor. Versions in other languages sometimes mention T87 or T600 being the predecessor. For the time being I will mention both types.--Davv69_overleg 7 jun 2010 14:59 (CEST)

What you have done makes sense to me. Clearly both cars were predecessors to the 603. But (folgens mij) only one of them was the direct predecessor. The DAF 44 and DAF 55 were both predecessors to the DAF 66. Even the DAF 33 / Dafodil / 600. But to me, only the DAF 55 was the direct predecessor to the DAF 66. But I am NOT the expert on how Dutch wiki readers would see this.

I will maybe take time when I get back with more time this evening to take a look at how the German wiki entry treats this. (I do just occasionally trust myself to correct stuff on the German wiki!)

Yes, I'm particularly pleased with that picture too. I'd never even seen one of those cars till last month. And it was a very mixed day with the weather. But suddenly the rain stopped and the sun came out and the colo(u)r of the car is just right for avoiding reflection and ... yes, it's definitely one of my better photographs this year (I think by 80% luck:10% experience:10% skill). Thanks for mentioning it.
