James Oliver Curwood

James Oliver Curwood (12 juni 1878 – 13 augustus 1927, Michigan) was een Amerikaans schrijver. Hij werd beroemd door zijn avonturenverhalen, die veelal in Canada en Alaska speelden.
In 1908 kwam The Courage of Captain Plum uit, zijn eerste volwaardige roman. In sommige van zijn verhalen spelen dieren een hoofdrol.
