Actually, there is no town Raman today. The district office of the Amphoe Raman in located in Tambon Ka Yu Bo Ko, parts of which form the town (thesaban tambon, เทศบาลตำบล) Ka Yu Bo Ko. Maps and traffic signs in Thailand usually use the location of the district office as the center of the district, and sometimes leave out the word "Amphoe", which may be the cause of the confusion that there is a town named Raman.
