|statement = I have been an active member of the Dutch Wikipedia since Jan. 2007 and served on the Dutch Arbitration Committee since Nov. 2007. My commitment has been to help make the Wikipedia a working place for exploring and developing free information as well as being a place for cooperation. I believe that cooperation works throughout the world once a few simple measures of respect and listening are met. That is my reason for applying als a member of this board.
