Hello, This is what I put on your wiki-en talkpage a minute ago:

Sockpuppet problem
Hello Jon513, we have a problem on wikipedia-nl and your name came up since a checkuser performed today showed you created a sockpuppet recently which was used in a weird way for possible article manipulation with us. I hope you can visit your dutch talk page since this only concerns wikipedia-nl and enlighten us about the matter and explain more. The problem is simple: A Dutch user Toonservaes creates an article here about something technical. Then another user reverts the article to a redirect to an existing related article. This user is called Keeper of the Keys (overleg | bijdragen | verwijderde bijdragen | massaal verwijderen | logboek | blokkeren). The Dutch user asks for help in the Dutch help page explaining the problem. Then you award without having made any contributions at all here this new user Keeper of the Keys a "barnstar" for work he did not even do so suspicion arose about possible manipulation. I asked one of our checkusers to check whether this account was a sockpuppet lo and behold this was the original account and the Keeper of the Keys the sockpuppet. So you might understand the confusion now. As you can read on the talk page of the sockpuppet I had already asked this account in Dutch to clarify the actions. I intended to block both accounts for misuse of sockpuppets but decided to look further and then found out you are a very active contributor to several wiki versions and perhaps there is another explanation for your actions with might clarify the situation involved. I don't wish to reveal too much of my private data, but here is the story. I know Keeper of the Keys in real life, and we access the Internet over the same network. I knew through real life, that s/he worked hard to revamp an article and thought it would be nice to thank him/her on wiki. I am sorry if this created confusion for you. I suggest you unblock Keeper of the Keys, because s/he may become a valuable editor. Jon513 31 jan 2009 18:12 (CET)

It is a fuzzy story. I just conferred with one of the checkusers involved (two checked and rechecked extensively yesterday and today) and he is very confused about the two accounts on one IP with two computers and one also logging in via another IP-addie in another country with the same computer using the new account and you obviously not speaking Dutch so not able to understand/know whether a new user on another wikipedia (here) indeed has contributed something worthwhile or not at all. All in all a very weird situation which does not warrant unblocking the newly made account at all we concluded. The checkuser was curious how come this happened and why since it does not make sense at all nor sounds plausible. MoiraMoira _overleg 31 jan 2009 22:24 (CET)
