The 27th of October is the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, an UNESCO initiative to celebrate and recognize the value of audiovisual collections for future generations. In light of this day Sound and Vision will organize a “video-sprint” to encourage the use of video in articles on Wikipedia. The sprint will last one week, from the 27th of October untill the 3rd of November.

Rules[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]

From the 27th of October untill the 3rd of November 2014 you can add videos to relevant articles. On December 1st the prizewinners will be made known.
In order to participate you need to be logged in at the time when you add a video to an article.
Videos can be posted to any language version of Wikipedia but only those placed on <fill in the language version> qualify for this contest.
Once you have been selected as a prize winner we will contact you through your Wikipedia user account to get your address. This information will solely be used for the purpose of sending you the prize.
No correspondence will be entered into concerning the results.
