Clarissa Colangelo
Biography
Clarissa Colangelo is a scientific researcher in the field of digital photography, visual culture and new museum studies. She graduated from the University of Milan in Art History, before moving to Belgium where she did an MA in Cultural Studies at the University Leuven and started collaborating with Europeana Photography, for which she developed a MOOC. She is currently preparing a PhD at the University of Leuven on the Belgian photo novel in the context of an interuniversity research program PHOTO-LIT (funded by Belspo as a "Brain" pogram") in collaboration with the National Library in Brussels and the Université de Liège. A recreational cook, she is also preparing a book on Italian food photography with Valentina Dumenico.
