Nooma

NOOMA is een voltooide serie van 24 korte films die christelijke thema's behandelen. De presentator en schrijver is Rob Bell, een Amerikaanse voorganger die in 2011 door Time Magazine een van de 100 invloedrijkste personen ter wereld werd genoemd. De naam Nooma is de fonetische spelling van de Engelse uitspraak van het Griekse woord voor 'wind', 'geest' en 'adem': πνευμα (pneuma). Elke film is zo'n 10 tot 14 minuten lang en speelt zich in een alledaagse locatie af. De eerste Nooma-film verscheen in november 2002. De laatste in juli 2009. Een Nederlandstalige variant van Nooma heet Denkstof.
