Artikelinhoud vervangen

Dit artikel was een helaas uitermate slechte vertaling van een helaas erg beknopt uittreksel van het overeenkomstige Engelse artikel. De vertaling was dermate slecht dat er in veel gevallen gewoon onzin stond.

Ik heb het artikel in zijn geheel vervangen door een nieuwe versie, gebaseerd op de Engelse, met een toevoeging uit de Duitse Wikipedia ("Shapleylens"), en een eigen toevoeging ("Toepassing in de fotografie", alsmede verwijzingen naar "Teleconverter" en "Retrofocus- en teleconstructie").

Barlowlens design

Please correct.

1 - Barlow lens is a doublet lens acromat (or triplet) not simply a negative - is confusing.
2 - H = H ' , f = f' , F = F ' - see ->[1]
3 - H - is the first master plan not the second.
4 - It should be noted that f ' is focal length of a combination of L1-L2.
5 - The drawing is good for the principle off the telephoto lens.

Uit het bovenstaande blijkt dat hij vreselijk star vasthoudt aan de beletteing zoals hij die geleerd heeft. Hij kent ook geen woord Nederlands en kan dus niet leze wat er in het onderschrift staat. Conclusie: Negeren!

Sorry, I forgot to react in English for Tamasflex:

If you were able to read Dutch, you would have noticed that the lettering is correct the way it is. There is no "law" whatsoever that dictates any "standard" lettering for such diagrams. The caption should specify the lettering actually used, as it indeed does.

Added remark @Tamasflex: I reminded you time and again that Wikipedia is a general encyclopedia, aimed at the general interested but not specialised public. Professionals who want to know more details, should look elsewhere -- and they know where. This article, like most articles in a general encyclopedia, only explains the basics of how a Barlow lens works. Because a single lens would introduce aberrations, in practice a doublet, triplet or whatever may be used. But that has nothing to do with the actual working of the lens, which -- once again -- is what this article is about. So your remark is far beyond the scope of this article and will therefore be ignored.

On the other hand, this misunderstandig clearly illustrates that you are not able to understand articles in a language you do not know well, so you'd better stop messing around here, as you have already been told countless times on countless places.
