In am no native speaker. Could someone "nl" add the following under "Geschiedenis" , plwase ?
In may 1940, commando operations de la Deutsche Luftwaffe conquered a bridge over the Hollandsch Diep
(and also one traversing the Noord near Dordrecht and the Neue Maas near Rotterdam) and succeeded to keep it (them) until ground troops of the Wehrmacht relieved them.
