I changed entries in the "Taal" column to reflect the fact that languages spoken in all former Yugoslav republics (except Slovenia and Macedonia) used to be officially known as Serbo-Croatian during the communist Yugoslavia 1945-1991. There is no point in reversing this simple fact and attempting to classify songs sung in then-one language according to the current linguistical division. First of all, this would simply be incorrect as it would not correspond to the official Eurovision records. Second, it is not a trivial matter to decide which of the (ever increasing number of) very close dialects each particular song was performed in. It is an exercise in futility and entirely unnecessary controversy. And given how monotonic the "Taal" column now looks like (surprise - most of the songs were in the dominant official language of SFRY) it might be best to just erase it. --Dzordzm 8 apr 2006 10:16 (CEST)Reageren
