III?[brontekst bewerken]

Shouldn't this be Lodewijk II van Nassau-Weilburg instead of Lodewijk III van Nassau-Weilburg? Have a look at de:Ludwig II. (Nassau-Weilburg) and fr:Louis II de Nassau-Weilburg. Greetings, -- kh80 7 sep 2008 20:43 (CEST)Reageren

You are right. At last this has been corrected. Gasthuis(consultatiebureau) 18 mrt 2010 08:45 (CET).Reageren

Vergeef me dat ik hier in het Engels schrijf. Helaas ken ik uw taal niet:

User Adelfrank discovered that in many Wikipedia projects again an obviously wrong picture of Louis II, Count of Nassau-Weilburg is used and wrote this fact on the discussion page of the German article.

When I saw the discussion contribution, I could only agree with him. More detail of the discussion translation into English you can find here: en:Talk:Louis II, Count of Nassau-Weilburg.

The source of the wrong image used in Wikipedia is a mistake by the Austrian National Library. Adelfrank has informed the library about the mistake. We hope that it will be corrected soon.

The wrong image should be removed as soon as possible from all corresponding articles about Louis II, Count of Nassau-Weilburg.

Thank you very much for your understanding. --Stolp (overleg) 13 jan 2019 15:59 (CET)Reageren

Thanks for your message. I understand both German and English. I did read the German Discussion Page yesterday. I think you both are right. I will remove the picture from the article. Regards, HRvO (overleg) 13 jan 2019 19:50 (CET)Reageren
Thank you very much for the quick response and that you already have taken action. I do not live far away from Saarbrücken and know since long time, that unfortunately no expert knows about an image of this historic important count of Nassau. Stolp (overleg) 13 jan 2019 20:15 (CET)Reageren
It was no problem to take action quickly. When something is incorrect, it should be corrected as soon as possible. Yes, it is indeed strange that no image of the count survived. One would assume that at least at Schloss Weilburg there would be a painting of him, but apparently it doesn't. HRvO (overleg) 15 jan 2019 01:29 (CET)Reageren
