"Philitas werd geboren op Kos in 308 v.Chr." is translated by Babelfish as "Philitas were born on Kos in 308 v.Chr." This can't be right. The English version says that Ptolemy II Philadelphus was born in 308 B.C., not Philitas. It sounds like there was some confusion between Philitas and Ptolemy II here? Philitas's birth year is not known, but it was probably around 330 BC or perhaps even 340 BC. Eubulides 15 okt 2007 09:02 (CEST)
