- @Wutsje: First, I'm quite dumbfunded that the first thing that come to your mind here is that I'm trying to make it all white. That's got nothing with the issue here, and I find it weird, if not offensive, that you instantly think of that and accuse me of whitewashing. I removed the image because it is hardly befitting of illustrating an article. the center character is seen from behind, and the only two girls are barely seen, all from the sides. It feel like the photo is all about the two boys on the right, with passerbies teen girls that happen to be there. - Hi Aréat, the first thing that came to my mind was: this is not an improvement. The previous image serves as an excellent example of a group of young adolescents, just the way one sees them on the street: in motion, together, diverse. Your image is primarily a double portrait of a white boy and a white girl, both presumably heterosexual at that too. Wikipedia is not about reinforcing stereotypes. - That's what cross your mind, making you think it's a good pic. I explained my thoughts on why I don't think so. And there's nothing indicating these teenagers are heterosexuals or not, that's some very far stretched projecting. And what if they were? And what if they're white ? That's no more stereotyping than having non white shown.
