Sjabloon:Worldcat

Uit Wikipedia, de vrije encyclopedie

Worldcat in bibliotheken (volgens de WorldCat-catalogus)

Sjabloondocumentatie

Gebruik

* {{worldcat|id=}}

of

* {{worldcat|name=|id=}}

De verder vertaling van de onderstaande Engelse uitleg volgt binnenkort.

Achtergrond

Zie de uitleg bij 'Worldcat id'.

Engelse uitleg

Use

* {{worldcat|id=}}

or

* {{worldcat|name=|id=}}

Usage

Use the "name" variable only if the pagename, or "worldcat id" or "worldcat subject" do not make sense., i.e. when the "description" must be more nuanced than 'pagename', "Works by or about 'pagename'", or "Works about 'pagename'".

Add the template to the "external links" section of the article to create a link to the Worldcat Identities page associated with the article's title. To use this template, first do a worldcat identities lookup. Enter the subject's name This may result immediately in a useful page, or you may get worldcat's version of a "disambiguation page."

If you get a useful page (e.g., the one you get when searching WorldCat Identities for 'Australia') The "id" is the string after the URL, (e.g., "find?fullName=Australia"). Then, add the following to your article:

{{worldcat|name=The world's libraries have a strange definition of Australia. Nevertheless, you can research Australia|id=find?fullName=Australia}}

If you get a "disambiguation page" (e.g., the one you get when searching WorldCat Identities for 'Jesus Christ'), select the correct link (e.g., Jesus Christ) in the worldcat disambiguation page and click on it. This will lead to the correct page on worldcat. The id is the string after the last slash in the URL, e.g., lccn-n79-84784. Now, fill in your template as follows:

{{worldcat|name=Jesus Christ is the second-most referenced subject in the Worldcat catalog, and the references may be confusing and contradictory. Search for Jesus Christ|id=lccn-n79-84784}}
