The Bush Chemists is een Britse dub- en reggaegroep. De band bestaat uit Dougie Wardrop, Paul Davey en de zangers Kenny Knots en Culture Freeman.

Dougie Wardrop had een platenkraam in Camden Market in Londen sinds 1988 en begon met het opnemen van zijn eigen dubtracks met een 4-track recorder in 1989. Kort daarop richtte hij het Conscious Sounds label op. De band werd opgericht in 1993 als een zijproject van Wardrops band Centry. Het debuutalbum Dubs from Zion Valley in 1994 was een samenwerking met Jonah Dan.
