Linothele macrothelifera is een spinnensoort in de taxonomische indeling van de Dipluridae.[1]
Het dier behoort tot het geslacht Linothele. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1908 door Embrik Strand.
