What proof? Here is the flag of German Empire, coat of arms of German Empire, and the map of Baltische gouvernementen of Russia! Your map from 1920 is wrong, because it counterfeits to show the territory of the „Dutchy“. But the Dutchy never had a territory at all. The map of of the russian provinces just show the geography and the historical situation of this area before the war. The United Baltic Duchy were recognized as a sovereign state by emperor Wilhelm II in September 22, 1918. On November 5, 1918, a temporary Regency Council (Regentschaftsrat) for the new state led by Baron Adolf Pilar von Pilchau was formed. Jammer, het artikel zou wel wat verbeterd kunnen worden. Het is Vereinigtes Baltisches Herzogtum en niet Herzogtum Kurland und Semgallen. Poland_%26_The_New_Baltic_States.jpg geeft een betere kaart (evt. gedeelte). Vlag en wapen zijn inderdaad niet juist. De tekst is kort en niet helemaal juist. Hoe dan ook: Sovjet-Rusland had bij de vrede van Brest-Litovsk de soevereiniteit van de baltische goevernementen afgestaan (eerst Koerland, later ook Lijfland en Estland). De Jure waren dit nu protektoraten van Duitsland. Het duitse staatshoofd richtte daarna officiëel een hertogdom op. Joostik 11 mei 2009 22:57 (CEST)Reageren
