Dear contributors, my name is Sophie Österberg and I work for Wikimedia Sweden.
I would kindly like to ask for help. I am currently involved in a project with a university here in Sweden, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. They will in spring 2013 ask researchers and doctoral students to contribute to Wikipedia in various languages. A part of this would be to give them support with user templates. I have tried to make one here on the Dutch Wikipedia and have some issues with infobox person template, but I would love to have it translated to Dutch with the green banner and all other text in Dutch, as well as this instruction. I would be very, very grateful. Please do ask if anything seems unclear.

- OK so if I understand correctly, a Swedish university is going to ask its researchers to contribute to the Dutch Wikipedia (amongst others) and you want to support them. But how do the templates help? That's not clear to me. Josq (overleg) 5 dec 2012 17:19 (CET)

- Er zijn genoeg gebruikers op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia die dat ook doen en daarnaast denk ik dat het een positief signaal is om mensen aan te sporen gewoon normaal met elkaar om te gaan. @FakirNL: Wellicht voelen wetenschappers in het Nederlands taalgebied zich hiermee ook geroepen om te participeren, zou leuk zijn. - @FakirNL, als we hier merken dat een nieuwe gebruiker dit soort privé-gegevens plaatst dan worden die verwijderd om de jongen of het meisje te beschermen, dat vind ik persoonlijk wel verstandig, geen idee of Sophie om telefoontjes verlegen zit, echt doordacht lijkt mij haar bericht in ieder geval niet. - Blijkbaar wel. Omdat ze mensen zoekt die haar bij een project willen helpen doet ze haar best om zo gemakkelijk mogelijk gevonden te worden. Of je dat verstandig vindt of niet. Het is haar zaak en haar manier van doen. Ze voelt zich vrij en gaat haar gang. Dat recht kan niemand haar ontzeggen lijkt me. - I will respons in English as that's the only part of this discussion that I understand. It's a fair question, the one about how Swedish researchers may contribute to the Dutch Wikipedia. It may be due to my lack in making myself clear but the idea is not that Swedish researchers will contribute to this Wikipedia, rather that this university has attracted many international researchers and some of those are Dutch and would want to take part in this Wikipedia project at this university, but contribute in their native tounge, hence, write in Dutch on the Dutch Wikipedia. The university did though ask for help in a similar template being set up in the languagues that are spoken by the researchers as this university. The template does not help per se, rather it was the wish from the university to have a template set up so the users can easily copy and paste the wiki-syntax from that template and put it on their userpage and just fill out information about themselves whilst still having the same layout as the other researchers from that university. So template does not help in contributing, but is simply a wish from the university as a part of this project. Please do ask if it is still unclear. Kan iemand anders even helpen en kijken naar Schenkenschanz, (bew. gesch.) en de OP (laatste toevoeging)? Er is een lap tekst toegevoegd zonder inleiding of bron. Werd na terugdraaien opnieuw geplaatst. Er zal best een heel fraai lemma over de geschiedenis van deze plek te schrijven zijn, maar op deze manier niet, lijkt mij, Een externe link naar de originele tekst lijkt mij hier voldoende, liefst met een aanduiding waar het helemaal over gaat, of op de juiste manier inleiden en refs aangeven, wanneer de interne links in het stuk belangrijk genoeg geacht worden om het stuk te behouden.
