Europeana Sounds(1) will organise several sound and music related edit-a-thons throughout Europe in 2015 and 2016. An edit-a-thon about XXXXX will be organised on the XXth of Month 201X at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision.

General information[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]

During this edit-a-thon (target audience) and Wikipedians will be invited to enrich Wikipedia with their knowledge and with enriching relevant articles with field recordings of bird sounds from several collections. (Name the archives and databases that will be used here). Next to (learn about) writing articles on Wikipedia, this event is the perfect chance to meet other (target audience / subject of edit-a-thon) enthusiasts and to learn more about the collection of (name of archive / databases).

Goals and target audiences[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]

Bird watchers, sound hunters, Wikipedians who love nature and birds and Wikipedians who like to help guide this event. Knowledge of Wikipedia is not mandatory! This edit-a-thon is a good way to explore the platform.
