There has been a lot of discussion about "just" changing images, e.g. flag images with borders that are being replaced by others without borders - we never asked for a change, so why can't you people make a change that doesn't affect the look of a page? These useless edits just lead to new useless edits. In the future, anonymous users that make edits like these might be blocked - Quistnix 1 mei 2006 17:37 (CEST)Reageren

I don't change images to other images that don't look the same. It's just that there are so many images for which there is a vector version - and sometimes I replace such images with equal svg-images - commons:image:IAEA flag.png for example is now no more used (exept a protected page on english wikinews) and can be deleted. Isn't that an advance? For example, have a look at Vlaggen_van_internationale_organisaties and compare it to the old version. There is no difference between the png and the svg image, in this case, the colors of the svg images match even better together. Deze overlegpagina hoort bij een anonieme gebruiker die of geen gebruikersnaam heeft, of deze momenteel niet gebruikt. Daarom wordt het IP-adres ter identificatie gebruikt. Let erop dat meerdere personen hetzelfde IP-adres kunnen gebruiken. In dat geval kunnen berichten door iemand anders ontvangen worden dan de persoon aan wie het bericht gericht is. Mocht u als gebruiker van dit IP-adres willen voorkomen dat dit gebeurt, dan kunt u een account aanmaken of inloggen.
