Tirupur (Tamil:திருப்பூர்) is de hoofdstad van het in 2008 gevormde district Tirupur in de Indiase deelstaat Tamil Nadu. De textielindustrie is voor de stad van groot economisch belang.
Bij de laatste officiële volkstelling in 2011 had de stad 444.352 inwoners.[1] De gehele stedelijke agglomeratie had in 2025 volgens de Verenigde Naties 1.242.837 inwoners,[2][3] terwijl de plaats in het begin van de 20e eeuw slechts 6000 inwoners telde.
