Sarah Jessica Parker (Nelsonville (Ohio), 25 maart 1965) is een Amerikaans televisie- en filmactrice onder meer bekend vanwege haar hoofdrol als Carrie Bradshaw in de Amerikaanse serie Sex and the City die op de Amerikaanse zender HBO speelde van 1998 tot 2004.
Parker was de vierde van acht kinderen. Al van kinds af aan volgde ze zang- en danslessen. In 1976 verhuisde het gezin naar New Jersey, kort nadat Sarah Jessica een rol had gekregen in haar eerste Broadway-musical, The Innocents. Ze ging naar de Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, New Jersey terwijl ze nog enkele rollen in theaterproducties neerzette tot 1982. In dat jaar kreeg ze haar eerste tv-rol aangeboden bij de Amerikaanse zender CBS in de sitcom Square Pegs. Nadat ze afgestudeerd was van het middelbaar besloot ze zich ten volste op haar acteercarrière te storten. Ze speelde mee in films als Footloose en Honeymoon in Vegas, maar verwierf echt grote internationale bekendheid in 1998 als Carrie Bradshaw in de sitcom Sex and the City.
Momenteel woont Parker in New York City samen met haar man Matthew Broderick, met wie ze op 19 mei 1997 trouwde. Ze had al eerder relaties met onder meer John F. Kennedy Jr., Robert Downey Jr. en zanger Joshua Kadison. In 2002 beviel Parker van een zoontje, James Wilke Broderick. Op 22 juni 2009 beviel een draagmoeder van hun tweeling, Marion Loretta Elwell en Tabitha Hodge.
