Staurotheca frigida is een hydroïdpoliep uit de familie Sertulariidae. De poliep komt uit het geslacht Staurotheca. Staurotheca frigida werd in 1997 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort.
