De zevende editie van de strijd om de Champions Trophy had plaats van zaterdag 16 november tot en met zondag 24 november 1985 in Perth. Deelnemende landen aan het mondiale hockeytoernooi waren ditmaal: gastland en titelverdediger Australië, Groot-Brittannië, India, Nederland, Pakistan en West-Duitsland.
