Oh dear...

The basic problem is, that there got mixed up the generic term "buggy" and a special (original) form of those buggies, the "VW buggy". Our German article "de:VW Buggy" is only about the buggies made out of old VW Käfers. But the generic term "buggy" also stands for i. e. the Schlesser buggy or the Fast Attack Vehicle. These buggies aren't made out of old VW Käfers...

We don't have an article about this generic type in German Wikipedia at the moment. As soon we have one, you can link to it.

If your article buggy only concerns the VW buggies then the link to German wikipedia would be right. But then you firsty should change the lemma of the article and then remove the interwiki links to all other wikipedias, because there the article concers the generic term. You are wrong. The dutch article reads "In de jaren 60 werd in de VS het erg populair om Volkswagen Kevers om te bouwen tot strandauto's. Deze werden Buggy's genoemd, naar de VW Bug, zoals de Kever in Amerika genoemd werd." If the title is generic so be it, the main concept is described - reverting an VW to a buggy. Firstly I don't understand your article.

If it only handles the VW buggies like the German article does, then you should remove all interwiki links except of the German one so that the interwiki conflict can be fixed...

If your article also handles other buggies that aren't based upon a VW Käfer, then you should only remove the link to German wikipedia. Chaddy (overleg) 20 mrt 2011 09:45 (CET)

It's very simple. I already explained what has to be done. So please choose one of the two possibilities and then let us solve this problem...

By the way, the very bad translation by Google translate tells me, that it's also a mixed article like the other ones in the other wikipedias. So it's right to remove the German interwiki...
