Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) is een certificatie van Microsoft die behaald kan worden door het slagen op vier welbepaalde MCP examens.
Het test de systeembeheer kennis voor Microsoft Windows besturingssystemen.
Momenteel kan men de MCSA status behalen in:
Een stapje hogerop is de MCSE status.
Vanaf Windows Server 2008 verandert deze certificatie van naam. Het wordt dan MCITP: Server Administrator, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator.
