Remy Borsboom (born July 23, 1997 in Voorburg, The Netherlands[1]), better known by his stage name Remy Cooper, is a Dutch record producer, songwriter, and DJ. His music is mostly House, Dance and Pop. He is best known for his single "Afterglow" (featuring Clara Mae), which got over 3 million streams and was released on Armin van Buuren's label Armada Music[2]. He also produced a remix for Lost Frequencies' "Like I Love You" on his label Found Frequencies[3]. More Remy has been releasing music like "I Wish I Knew" and his "Stardom/Hater" remix for ANNNA on his own label Trooper Recordings[4]. These songs have been played by many big artists and radio's across the world. He has worked for international artists such as Watermät, Zeeba and Tez Cadey.
Remy released tracks on labels such as Armada Music, Found Frequencies, Soave, Monthly Hits Records[5] and Trooper Recordings.

Remy Borsboom was born and raised in Voorburg, The Netherlands. At the age of 14, he played Little Tarzan in Disney's "Tarzan The Musical" in Scheveningen, The Netherlands. After Tarzan, he played in two more musicals; "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Kruimeltje"[6]. At the age of 17, he started studying communication and multimedia design in Breda, but quitted after two years to study Electronic Music Production at the Rockacademie in Tilburg[7].

Remy gained international recognition for his original singles and remixes which has been streamed millions of times. Different songs showed up in the Dutch release radar from the official Dutch Top 100 and the song Afterglow became a hit in the German Spotify playlist "Wochenende"[8]. With some great artists supporting his house tracks, he gained attention from the international DJ & Producer Lost Frequencies. In the week of ADE 2018, Remy released his remix for Lost Frequencies – "Like I Love You". At the release date, he played his track in the Supperclub (Amsterdam) where he had his ADE debut with an international line-up (Watermät, Loud Luxury and more)[9].
Under the umbrella name "Trooper Music", he started his own label and production studio in June 2019. In this studio he produces his own productions and works together with and for other artists. Trooper Music is a creative company where the creation and distribution of musical content is the main focus. In October 2019, Remy was asked to participate in the official ADE writing camp. Here, he worked on tracks with upcoming and established (inter)national artists[10].
Beside writing for his own House/Dance project, Remy also produces a wide variety of genres for/with other artists. One of his other aliases is "Casa Blanca", a production & writers collective, consisting of Steve Cherry, Brad Cane & Remy Cooper[11].
