Het seizoen 2008/2009 was het 83ste seizoen van ACF Fiorentina in het Italiaanse voetbal en het 71ste in de hoogste afdeling van het Zuid-Europese land. Onder leiding van Cesare Prandelli, die bezig was aan zijn vierde seizoen in Florence, eindigde La Viola op de vierde plaats in de eindrangschikking, waardoor plaatsing voor de play-offronde van de UEFA Champions League werd afgedwongen.
