Kristin Scott Thomas

Kristin Scott Thomas (Redruth, 24 mei 1960) is een Brits actrice. Ze werd in 1997 genomineerd voor een Academy Award voor haar hoofdrol in The English Patient. Meer dan vijftien andere filmprijzen werden haar daadwerkelijk toegekend, waaronder een BAFTA Award (voor Four Weddings and a Funeral), een European Film Award (voor Il y a longtemps que je t'aime) en de prijs voor de actrice van het jaar op het Hollywood Film Festival 2008.
Thomas speelt zowel Engels- als Franstalige rollen. Haar jongere zus Serena Scott Thomas is sinds 1990 eveneens actief als actrice.
Thomas was van 1987 tot 2005 getrouwd met François Olivennes. Ze hebben samen een dochter en twee zoons.
