De Nederlandstalige Wikipedia is sinds 19 juni 2001 online en telt inmiddels 2.156.847 artikelen. In de loop van de jaren zijn er voor het schrijven of bewerken van artikelen en voor de onderlinge samenwerking een aantal uitgangspunten en richtlijnen geformuleerd. Neem die als nieuwkomer ter harte. Lees ook eerst even de informatie in dit venster voordat je aan de slag gaat. Geen van de richtlijnen heeft kracht van wet, want Wikipedia is en blijft vóór alles vrij bewerkbaar, maar een beetje houvast voordat je in het diepe springt kan nooit kwaad.

Je bijdragen worden nu geregistreerd onder je IP adres. Aanmelden biedt veel voordelen. Na vier dagen krijg je ook de mogelijkheid om semi-beveiligde pagina's te bewerken en verdwijnt de verplichting om een bewerking eerst te controleren.

Deze pagina, die nu op je scherm staat, is trouwens je persoonlijke overlegpagina, de plaats waar je berichten van andere Wikipedianen ontvangt en ze kunt beantwoorden. Iedere gebruiker heeft zo'n pagina. Wil je een nieuw overleg met iemand anders beginnen, dan kan dat dus op zijn of haar overlegpagina. Sluit je bijdragen op overlegpagina's altijd af met vier tildes, dus zo: ~~~~. Een druk op de handtekeningknop (zie afbeelding) heeft hetzelfde effect: je bericht wordt automatisch ondertekend met je gebruikersnaam en de datum en tijd waarop je je boodschap voltooide. Versturen doe je met de knop "Wijzigingen publiceren".

Zou je aub willen opletten met het maken van botachtige wijzigingen zoals het toevoegen van categorieën. Zolang je geen botbit hebt -, mag je maar maximaal 2 bewerkingen per minuut doen.

Sorry, I didn't know about that limit. Since this Wikipedia has many empty categories on automobile segments, I wanted to add a couple of models in each one. If you want, I can stop doing that. -- NaBUru38 12 okt 2007 23:42 (CEST)
Hi NaBUru38, I had a look on the list of recent changes and noticed that there were suddenly many edits from this IP-adres (190.64.49.155). I had a look on several of them and saw that categories were changed. As these are generally done by bots, I placed this notice. On wikipedia NL every wikipedian can run a bot without a bot flag, but with a limit of 1 edit per 30 seconds. Now I see that you also did some other changes. I am not a specialist in cars and can not judge the edits themselves. They seem to be alright, so please continue and have a lot of fun on wikipedia NL. I've never learnt how to do a bot, so I do minor changes manually. When I look for car classification in languages I don't fully understand, I usually read the articles on models that already include them. For what I've read here, your "economyklasse" corresponds to the European B segment and the "stadswagen" to the A segment, so I added some of the most well-known cars to those categories. The bigger cars were easier because the Dutch use similar terms to Germans (Compacte-Kompakt, Middenklasse-Mittelklasse, Hogere middenklasse-Obere Mittelklasse).
That is why I moved the categories of some articles (Corsa, Micra, Fiesta). Perhaps that "economyklasse" label doesn't correspond to B-segment but just to economical cars; if that's the case, I guess someone else that knows about the Dutch automobile industry will change everything.
About the Categorie:Auto -> Categorie:Automodel moves, many "Category:Automobiles (Auto)" in different Wikipedias include a "Category:Automobile types (none in WP:NL)", "Category:Automobile bodystyles (Autotypeaanduiding)", "Category:Automobile classes (Autoklasse)" and "Category:Automobile models (Automodel)". Some categories that were in Categorie:Auto could be included in those categories, so I moved them to clean the parent category.
If I ever see this Wikipedia's articles on cars need more changes, I will continue doing them. Good luck! -- NaBUru38 15 okt 2007 19:58 (CEST)
