Hartelijk dank voor je belangstelling voor Wikipedia! We werken hier aan een encyclopedie die vrij beschikbaar, vrij bewerkbaar, en zo volledig en neutraal als mogelijk is. We waarderen het enorm dat ook jij hieraan wilt bijdragen!

In het menuutje hiernaast zie je enkele handige pagina's. Geen van de richtlijnen die in die pagina's beschreven staan moet overigens gezien worden als wet, want Wikipedia is en blijft vóór alles vrij bewerkbaar. Ze zijn alleen bedoeld als houvast.

Deze pagina, die nu op je scherm staat, is trouwens je persoonlijke overlegpagina, de plaats waar je berichten van andere Wikipedianen ontvangt en beantwoordt. Iedere gebruiker heeft zo'n pagina. Wil je een bericht voor iemand anders achterlaten, dan doe je dat dus op zijn of haar overlegpagina. Sluit je bijdragen op overlegpagina's altijd af met vier tildes, dus zo: ~~~~. Je bericht wordt dan automatisch ondertekend met je gebruikersnaam en de datum en tijd waarop je je boodschap voltooide.

Wijzigen foto's

Hallo C Messier, gelieve niet overal uw foto's te pushen op artikelen waar wijziging van de foto echt niet altijd nodig is. Op deze wiki hebben we daar ook een richtlijn voor: Bij Twijfel Niet Inhalen. Dit houdt in dat als een wijziging niet een directe verbetering is voor het artikel, dan is die wijziging niet gewenst. user:Dqfn13, the image I added have been reviewed and the follow the images guidelines of commons. And I will say where the improvement is:

• here you added again a photo which hasn't its perspective corrected.
• here you reverted to a badly cropped photo (which also doesn't have perspective correction)! You can only see half of the church that it is visible from that direction. Having a photo that you can see the whole church and not just part of it I believe is an immediate improvement.
• In Afsluitdijk the differences are less important (mostly details like size, and use of rule thirds), so I won't argue more. C messier (overleg) 7 sep 2016 12:58 (CEST)

Guidelines on Commons have no effect on Wikipedia, besides: the picture of the Martinikerk isn't bad or wrong. It just isn't a perfect photo. Perspective is something important on commons, not here. Dqfn13 (overleg) 7 sep 2016 13:24 (CEST)

Martinikerk.jpg (which is the only image I replaced of this church) is badly cropped. If perspective correction wasn't something that is believed to improve the photo, it wouldn't have been in the guidelines. C messier (overleg) 7 sep 2016 13:31 (CEST)

They say how a photo should be. And as here we discuss if there is a clear improvement of photo, IMO, they should taken into consideration. Does nlwiki has its own guidelines about photos? C messier (overleg) 7 sep 2016 13:40 (CEST)

If you read this page (sorry, only in Dutch) you'll read there are guidelines for articles, those include photo's. Changing black and white to coloured, tiny pictures to bigger are improvements. Changing a photo that isn't bad to a QI, isn't a real improvement of the article. Dqfn13 (overleg) 7 sep 2016 13:55 (CEST)

In a small frame, like on the Lijst van rijksmonumenten in Groningen (stad) or other articles NOT about the church you don't need to see the entire building. I haven't reverted you on the article about the church. You have to see the things in perspective in stead of wanting to push your photo. I've made over 3000 photo's, not even 1000 of them are being used because I only place my photo's on articles where they are needed. Dqfn13 (overleg) 7 sep 2016 14:06 (CEST)

And from the 1940 files I have uploaded, 668 are used (1/3). I see from the 4248 you have uploaded, 4200 are used. (Try the GLAMorous. If I wanted to push my photos, eg. I would replace every general view of Martinikerk, not only the small cropped photo from the same point as mine. I only replace when I believe there is an improvement. Eg. this isn't an improvement over the one already used. But I have seen many photos here that I believe need replacement (mostly are badly lit, a significant aspect of every photo, or badly cropped and many are also small), so what is the procedure? Those 4200 (I didn't know it was that much) files are in my personal space on Wikipedia: Gebruiker:Dqfn13/Foto's for example. If you check with a tool, you won't see where they are used. But seriously, replacing a file that's not QI, because of minor flaws like lack of perspective correction with a QI because of perspective correction is not needed here on Wikipedia. GLAMorous can show which of the files you have uploaded the current version are used. And anyway, I asked above what is the procedure to replace files here, at nlwiki? I have seen many files with bad lighting or composition (cropped or with distracting, irrelevant elements) that I believe need to be replaced. C messier (overleg) 7 sep 2016 14:50 (CEST)

If the object is better visible on the new file (not in shadows or new file isn't overexposed), photo is in much higher resolution, colour instead of black and white, than you can replace the file. If in doubt, ask on the helpdesk or on the talkpage. Dqfn13 (overleg) 7 sep 2016 15:28 (CEST)
