King of the Ring was een professioneel worsteltoernooi die gehouden werd door de World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In 1985 werd de King of the Ring voor het eerst georganiseerd en werd nadien jaarlijks, behalve in 1990 en 1992, gehouden tot in 2002. Tussen 1993 en 2002 organiseerde de WWE dit toernooi als een pay-per-viewevenement. In 2006, 2008 en 2010 organiseerde de WWE King of the Ring en die vonden allemaal plaats tijdens een Raw-show.

De King of the Ring-toernooien werden door middel van een knock-outsysteem georganiseerd.
