Erskine

Hoi, vind je het goed als ik het artikel Erskine weer terugzet op Erskine (Minnesota) en van Erskine een doorverwijspagina maak? Er is namelijk in schotland ook een plaats met die naam en heb zelf een aantal artikelen geschreven over leden van de familie Erskine, die ik ook op die doorverwijspagina kan zetten. mvg, Vincent Steenberg 6 okt 2007 00:45 (CEST)

P. de Carpentier

De familie de carpentier heeft van 1550 tot 1850 haar geschiedenis bijgehouden in "Familieboek van De Carpentier" waarvan een kopie in mijn bezit is. In dit boek wordt de geboortedatum van P. de carpentier beschreven en in tweede instantie door hem zelf bevestigd.

Interwiki Trollhättan

What are you doing and why are you reverting all the changes I made?? The article Trollhättan is about the municipality, most of the articles you want to link are about the city. That is NOT the same and it generates conflicts, because there are wikipedias which have an article about the municipality and about the city itself. da, de, en, fi, fr, id, it, pl, ro, sv, vo are all about the city directly and only mention where it is. fo, this one, nn, no are about the municipality and also mention the city. That is quite different.

Right now you (re)created a conflict. Try to add en:Trollhättan Municipality in iwfixer. It's a complete mess again, after I spent a long time fixing it. I would really appreciate if you fix that again in a correct manner or explain to me why you did it in this weird (and imho unstable) way. -- 130.238.5.7 20 okt 2007 18:47 (CEST) (de:user:JonnyJD)

Okay, now we have a point without a conflict. I was at the same point, when somebody from no.wikipedia mentioned that this isn't right. It looks best, because of the names of the articles, but it's not quite right. See also no:Diskusjon:Trollhättan for that. Basically the thing to decide is, if nl,nn,no are about the city or the municipality. The title suggest, that they are about the city, but the content and the tables suggests to map them to the municipality. My recommendation would be to move the articles to a more fitting name or change the categories and tables in the articles so the article really is about the city. -- 130.238.5.7 20 okt 2007 19:39 (CEST) (de:user:JonnyJD)

Afbeelding van Avatar door jou verwijderd

Beste Multichill,

de afbeelding die je verwijderd hebt, staan wèl op de Engelse Wikipedia, en toch al een tijd lang, maar deze zijn NIET verwijderd.

Waarom worden al mijn afbeeldingen die ik heb van de Engelse Wikipedia verwijderd. Ik ben trouwens net nieuw op Wikipedia, dus ik weet niet alles...

Hoi Wim, dat klopt. Op de Engelse wikipedia hebben ze "fair use", een principe wat op commons niet geldt. Als je bijvoorbeeld kijkt op en:Image:WT Avatar Temple.png dan zie je dat er copyright op het plaatje zit. Voor de exacte richtlijn zie Commons:Licensing#Material under the fair use clause is not allowed on the Commons. Verwarrend helaas. Het makkelijkste is om alleen foto's op commons te zetten die je zelf hebt genomen. Multichill 24 okt 2007 21:47 (CEST)

Goed dat je het zegt. Ik moet de documentatie nog vertalen tot die tijd zie en:Template:Sort en zie en:Template:Sortname. Het zijn hulpsjablonen voor een sorteerbare tabel. Zie voor een voorbeeld Live at the Fillmore, daar komt Miles Davis bijvoorbeeld bij de D ipv bij de M als je sorteert op artiest. Multichill 26 okt 2007 12:33 (CEST)
