Werkwoord (Nederlands)

mooi dat je hier mee aan de gang wilt gaan. Is het echter niet te moeilijk voor de meesten om meteen met 8 ww vormen op de proppen te komen? 't Kofschip is voor de meesten al te hoog gegrepen. Vriezenveens

Dat wist ik niet Thijs, dat er in Vriezenveen zoveel Friezen waren neergestreken (logisch wel, gezien de naam). Maar dat verklaart de vorm van het dialect nog lang niet helemaal - zijn er toevallig niet ook Groningers naartoe verhuisd? Steinbach 28 nov 2005 18:39 (CET)

Eerder andersom. Oorspronkelijk was Groningen Fries, pas na de Nedersaksische overheersing is het Nedersaksisch als omgangstaal gangbaar geworden, maar de invloeden van het Fries zijn nog merkbaar. Althans, dat meen ik ooit ergens gelezen te hebben, ik heb geen bron. Zou best eens de site van de provincie geweest kunnen zijn. Overigens is de geschiedenis van dorpen als Vriezenveen, Westerhaar, Bruinehaar en dergelijke te vergelijken met die van veel dorpen in Drenthe. Β-stuf

Betreffende de schijnbare schending van auteursrecht in Β-stuf: was het dan niet een goed idee geweest om op de overlegpagina van dat artikel een verklaring te plaatsen dat je de tekst met toestemming van de oorspronkelijke auteur had overgenomen? Dan had ik dat artikel nooit genomineerd voor verwijdering. Alsnog die verklaring plaatsen? Tenslotte is nu alleen in de lijst met te verwijderen pagina's terug te vinden waarom er geen schending van auteursrecht is, terwijl dat bij het artikel zelf te vinden zou moeten zijn. En je weet dat de tekst hiermee in het publieke domein terecht is gekomen, en dus overal zonder meer kan worden gereproduceerd? Okee, met deze tekst zal dat wel geen bezwaar zijn, maar ik ken genoeg teksten waarvan het niet erg is dat ze op Wikipedia komen, maar waarvoor publiek domein geen goed idee is. Hallo. Ik zie dat je een afbeelding hebt geupload (Image:IvoAndricPortrait.jpg) op Wikipedia. Helaas is er een probleem mee: gecopyrighte-afbeeldingen kunnen we op de Nederlandse Wikipedia helaas niet toestaan omdat we hier niet het principe fair use kennen, zoals ze op de Engelse wiki hebben. Dingen als logo's, screenshots van televisie-programma's e.d. die je bijvoorbeeld vindt via Google Images zijn (bijna) altijd ongeschikt voor Wikipedia omdat er auteursrecht op zit. Ik heb deze afbeelding daarom voor verwijdering genomineerd. Als je meer wilt weten over wat er wel en niet mag op het gebied van afbeeldingen kun je kijken op Wikipedia:Beleid voor gebruik van media. Barones van Acquoy

Hallo Thijs, ik zag dat jij twee van mijn wijzigingen (bij Acquoy en Beatrix) ongedaan hebt gemaakt en dat begrijp ik niet zo goed, hoe kom je daar bij dat dit niet klopt? Zoek maar eens op google naar Acquoy en Beatrix en dan zal je er snel achter komen dat dit wel degelijk juist is. Hoe kom jij er bij dit dit onjuist zou zijn? (als van Akkooi zou ik dat toch zeker wel moeten weten... niet?)

Een baronie onder Oranje-Nassau

Via vererving en verkoop komt Acquoy in 1513 in het bezit van Floris van Egmond, Graaf van Buren. In 1516 wordt het tot Baronie verheven. Uiteindelijk raakt het in 1551, door het huwelijk van Anna van Egmond-Buren met Prins Willem van Oranje, verbonden aan het geslacht van Oranje-Nassau. Die (nu symbolische) verbondenheid is tot op de dag van vandaag blijven voortbestaan. Koningin Beatrix voert temidden van haar vele titels ook die van Barones van Acquoy!

Het wapen van de voormalige soevereine Baronie Acquoy is sinds december 1991 permanent te zien in de Nieuwe Kerk aan de Dam te Amsterdam. In deze kerk, waar de Oranjes plegen te trouwen, heeft het wapen een plaats in de noorder zijbeuk samen met alle wapenschilden van de bezittingen die ooit van het huis Oranje-Nassau zijn geweest, zo'n 70 in totaal.

Acquoy ook wel Eckoy, Echoy of Ackoy genoemd is al in he begin van de 12e eeuw gesticht door ene Jan VIII Heer van Arkel nadat hij van zijn kruistocht naar het Heilige Land was teruggekomen. De eerste officiële vermelding van Acquoy komen we echter pas tegen in 1305. Via vererving en verkoop komt Acquoy in 1513 in bezit van Floris van Egmond, Graaf van Buren. Op google vind ik vrijwel uitsluitend letterlijke kopieën van de zinsnede "Koningin Beatrix .... Acquoy." Echter, in alle rijtjes met titels die ik van haar heb kunnen vinden, komt de titel niet voor. Hieruit heb ik geconcludeerd dat deze informatie incorrect is.

Gaat u maar eens kijken in de nieuwe kerk in Amsterdam. Ik kan u verzekeren dat het juist is en dat mijn naam wel degelijk van Akkooi is! Ik zie niet in wat u het recht geeft om de 'Baas' te zijn over deze informatie, ik ben namelijk niet overtuigd van uw bronnen. Dat zegt mij alleen dat deze ook onjuist zijn. Bovendien, waarom zouden uw bronnen, beter zijn dan mijn bronnen? Kunt u ze ontkrachten?

Wat maakt u een Acquoy expert? Het zijn tenslotte de 'roots' van mijn familie en ik ben zeer stellig overtuigd van deze informatie.

Nogmaals, gaat u naar de nieuwe kerk in Amsterdam.

Ik verwacht dus dat u, uit eigen beweging deze informatie terug op wikipedia plaatst. Anders zal ik het weer doen.

Replacing redirects ... is this possible?

It's me again ... see above ;-)

Is it possible to make a bot, which substitutes a link to a redirection page with the link to the target page? Example:

* Page A: "... [[Page B|bla bla]] ..."
* Page B: "#REDIRECT [[Page C]]"

The bot should edit "Page A" to

* Page A: "... [[Page C|bla bla]] ..."

Or ... does such a bot already exist?

Es handelt sich explizit um eine "französische Phrase", so dass es unsinnig ist, dafür andere Sprachen anzugeben (siehe meine identische Bemerkung in der Diskussion zu au pair). Qadi or Bahth ?

Dear Overleg gebruiker, nothwithstanding the insistence of some national Wikipedias, the Arab entry "Bahth" is not assimilable to my entry "Qadi" in Italian Wikipedia. "Qadi" in fact is related to an historical judge, in the time of the Caliphs or the Sultans. "Bahth" is instead related to a modern judge, comparable to a contemporary examining magistrate. So, please, don't reintroduce this reference, if it's possibile, in Italian Wikipedia. Thank you very much. Cloj (Italian Wikpedia)

Hi Sylphie. I understand the problem with more than 1 edit per 30 seconds. But to do something about this, I should change something in the bot-script, which I am not able to. I could as well do only manual edits, but this delays the bot work at the other 50 wikipedia's I am working on. Ik denk dat ik begrijp wat je bedoelt (ik heb nog niet veel aan Wikipedia toegevoegd), maar denk dat het toch beter is de link op een-of-andere maniet te verwijderen. De NL pagina verwijst naar één betekenis van het woord levering, en die wordt nu juist net niet bedoelt op de engelse pagina (om het lastig te maken: in het engels kàn de juridische bekenenis ook, maar die wordt dan weer niet op de engelse wikiperdia pagina uitgelegd...)

Ik ben voor verwijderen van de link, want momenteel roept het meer vragen dan antwoorden op.

Yes, I saw your message above. This error occured because there was a mistake in the warnfile I use. These are files were obtained from the interwiki link checker. The second edit occured because, besides the English wikipedia, many other wikipedia's were linking to the simple-english article. By changing the link on simple: the system of interwiki-links is not consistent any more, and no more automatic bot will change this again, unless operated manually and consciously. Hoi Verrekijker. Over die dubbele interwiki's, leuk en aardig, maar ik vermoed dat elke botgebruiker dit weer zal terugdraaien. Interwiki's gaan in principe alleen tussen onderwerp-pagina's die een op een corresponderen. Bijvoorbeeld interwiki's van The Edge naar U2 worden ook verwijderd, of van Pikachu naar Lijst van Pokemons.

Over je eerste verzoek: ik stel voor dat je even in je eigen 'naamruimte' een lijstje aanlegt, en mij tzt even daarop attendeert. Ik ga niet telkens voor 1 edit de bot instellen, dus werk liever een hele lijst ineens af. Als je de lijst in de onderstaande format aanlegt, kan ik er zo mee aan de slag:

Aletheia versus Althaea

In Greek mythology there are two entirely unrelated entities:

• en:Aletheia (mythology), the personification of Truth, sometimes presented as a deity;
• en:Althaea (mythology), the mother of Meleager.

At some point these two got confused on (at least) the English Wikipedia, and this confusion is being perpetuated through the interwiki links. I noticed your bot adding ia:Aletheia to the iw links at en:Althaea (mythology). Can you and your bot do something about this? Basically, any iw link of some Alet* page to some Alt* page, or conversely, is wrong. Figuring out the correct links is unfortunately more difficult, with the names being spelled differently across languages and sometimes having several meanings and dab pages. Can you point me to a specific guideline? All I could find on en:Wikipedia:Interlanguage links is "Interlanguage links are links from an article in one Wikipedia language to the same subject in another Wikipedia language."

This happened because the articles of which the link was removed were not in the article name space, but in the wikipedia-namespace. Hij gaat af en toe alfabetisch alle pagina's in nl: langs, en soms instrueer ik hem aan de hand van de Interwiki Link Checker ([5]). Je kan me een lijstje doorgeven, in een textfile van de vorm:

Alphabetization

I'm not sure if the rule for adding interwiki links (for different language articles) is that they should be listed alphabetically, but on most pages they seem to be. On a couple of recent additions by your bot on the English wiki (e.g. Project Apollo and Unicorn, and probably others but I just looked at a couple at random from the contribs) it either adds a link in the wrong order, or it just seems to move an existing link to the wrong place. Problem with interwiki

Hi. I noticed that your bot has added interwiki links to the Swedish wikipedia article Domus, and then added corresponding links to the other languages. The problem, however, is that the Swedish article refers to a swedish departement store chain, and the other articles are about roman architecture (save the japanese, which is about an architectural journal). Very active bot

Hi there, is there any way how to convince your bot to stop removing interwiki from the Mošovce article (on almost all of the wikis)? It keeps doing so in spite of the fact that all the iw liks are valid and working (sometimes there are two articles linked to the Mošovce article in certain wikis, because they allow articles to be created in two different scripts (e.g. azerbayzan -- latin and arabic). Er stond kennelijk ergens een link vanaf een van de diaspoor-pagina's, naar het engelstalige Diaspora. Die was nog iw-link-vrij, dus er trad geen conflict op. Hoi Thijs. Ik ben voornamelijk actief op de Engelse wikipedia, en moet daar op een bijna dagelijkse basis de bots (niet alleen deze, vele vertaalbots) toevoegingen aan retinol terugdraaien. De engelse pagina is en:vitamin A, en niet en:retinol, dit zijn op de Engelse wikipedia twee verschillende pagina's (alhoewel er op het moment een samenvoeg-aanvraag loopt). De oplossing is zojuist uitgevoerd, namelijk van Vitamin A niet een doorverwijspagina maken, maar eenge wone pagina. Als een bot ziet, dat er naar 2 pagina's wordt verwezen, en 1tje is een doorverwijspagina, dan kiest de bot voor de andere. User:Thijs!bot on the English Wikipedia keeps linking en:4chan to Simple:4chan. However, Simple:4chan has been deleted and protected to to stop people from creating it again. I tried to put a interwiki link that was commented out to fool the bot, but that did not work. The other link the bot added, de:Imageboard#4chan, is OK. botproblemen

Beste Thijs,

gezien bovenstaande opmerkingen, zou ik dringend willen adviseren je bot per direct in de slaapstand te zetten, en het probleem eerst op te lossen. Het lijkt erop dat je bot ergens een technisch mankement heeft. Probeer dat eerst op te lossen voor je (op welke wiki dan ook) verder gaat. Het probleem is niet mijn bot. Alle interwikibots werken op dezelfde manier. Bovendien die ik per dag meer dan 10.000 edits die bijdragen. Als er een probleem wordt gesignaleerd los ik dat op, maar gemiddeld is dat minder dan 0.1%, veel minder dan het foutenpercentage van gewone gebruiker. Voor de duidelijkheid zal ik uitleggen hoe een interwiki-bot werkt, want die doet niets uit zichzelf! Een interwiki-bot volgt alle interlinks op een pagina's, en op de gevonden pagina ook weer alle interwiki-links. Als er geen conflicten optreden, gaat ie er vanuit dat de links die op pagina's staan correct zijn, en zal hij ze overal aanvullen. De bot maakt dus niet zelf fouten, maar neemt wel af en toe foute informatie over. Echter, in de meeste gevallen als een iw-link fout is, zal dat een conflict veroorzaken en doet de bot helemaal niets. Thijs! 23 jan 2007 11:31 (CET)

Sorry, maar je bot maakt denk ik teveel fouten. Bij andere botgebruikers heb ik nog nooit zo een grote hoeveelheid meldingen gezien. Er is meestal maar een klein percentage mensen dat komt "klagen". Neem svp mijn advies ter harte, en kijk of je een fout kunt vinden of een update. Dit ben je aan je botbitjes wel verplicht denk ik. (Je komt immers niet op de RC, dus veel van je fouten worden niet opgemerkt) Misschien kun je een extra drempel oid inbouwen. Inderdaad. Tegenover het aantal edits die de bot maakt, valt het aantal fouten nog heel goed mee. Verder maakt de bot zelf normaal geen fouten, maar verspreidt een bot enkel fouten die gemaakt zijn door mensen. En meestal zijn dat heel stomme fouten, zoals een typo of een copy-paste fout. (2005 vs 2006) Ik meen ook wel op te merken dat sommige klagers de soms niet verder kijken dan de neus lang is, ofwel dat er een groot tekort aan kennis is over hoe een interwikibot werkt. Wanneer het om een normale gebruiker zou gaan zou ik het eens zijn. Het gaat hier echter om een bot, en een fout heeft op meerdere wiki's invloed. (door het cascade-effect) Een bot is verborgen in de RC, en zeker op de kleinere wiki's betekent dat dat de bewerkingen verborgen blijven, en de bot eigenlijk helemaal foutloos zou moeten opereren. Een aantal van de fouten zou denk ik verbeterd kunnen worden (het meermalen achtereen "herstellen" van een fout bijvoorbeeld). Daarom stel ik ook voor de bot eens handmatig te volgen, en te zien hoe het loopt en hoeveel er nu eigenlijk echt fout gaat. (die schatting kan een factor tien naar beide kanten scheef liggen) Ik zou er overigens ook voor zijn dit altijd bij iedere bot zo nu en dan te doen, maar dat terzijde. Mijn argumenten blijven wat mij betreft overeind. Mijn bot werkt identiek, alleen soms iets vaker en iets langduriger, dan andere interwikibots. Dus niet méér fouten, en inderdaad ook niet minder. Ik stel voor dat als je problemen hebt met interwiki-bots, daarover een peiling te starten of een discussie aan te zwengelen in de Kroeg, en mij anders gewoon net zo behandelen als elke autonome interwiki-bot (die immers hetzelfde foutenpercentage en dezelfde problemen hebben). Verder sluit ik me aan bij Tuvic hierboven. Vaak klagen mensen over fouten die niet aan mijn bot liggen, maar aan het feit dat pagina's al dan niet als doorverwijspagina zijn gemarkeerd, of dat er foute links opstaan. Als je overigens concrete suggesties hebt om de werkwijze van de automatische bots te verbeteren (en ze wel automatisch te laten blijven, ik ga niet >20000 edits op nl: alleen al per week handmatig controleren), dan wil ik die best (door de ontwikkelaars laten) implementeren. Dat zou een serie zijn, en logischerwijs zijn dat er dan minder als normaal. Ik merk op dat er bij jouw bot relatief veel "klachten" komen, en vandaar mijn opmerkingen. Ik snap overigens niet waarom je überhaupt niet zélf een serie wilt controleren. Je wilt toch uiteindelijk ook dat je bot goed werk aflevert, en je wilt de kwaliteit ervan toch ook tot op zekere hoogte controleren? Ik merkte al eerder op dat er een extra drempel zou kunnen worden opgebouwd om in ieder geval het vier, vijf keer dezelfde fout doorvoeren kan worden voorkomen. @Verrekijker: mooi voorbeeld van hoe het dus niet moet: door gewoon de interwikilinks enkel op deze wiki te verwijderen, beschouwt de bot (elke interwikibot) deze gewoon als ontbrekend, en voegt die dus bij vanuit een andere taal. En verder is dit conflict ontstaan wegens het fout (dubbel, niet 1-1) linken bij het aanmaken van het artikel. First of all, since the bot edits articles on several languages' wiki, I suppose you could expect that an user from e.g. it.wiki (me) hasn't necessarily an account on nl.wiki but still has the right to point some flaws in the bot activities. Secondly, I don't scream at all normally but the situation is getting quite unpleasant. Just take a look in the history page of the italian article and you'll notice by yourself. Maybe it's me, but I think that a bot owner should verify the *actual results* of the bot's job on different articles in the first place, not on the basis of other users (necessarily english speaking and preferably w/ an account on nl.wiki) complaints. I understand perfectly the technical reasons you described, but in the end as noone forces you to operate on some wiki and not in others, I don't see why other users should be forced to deal constantly with the consequences of your edits. BTW, I'm sorry if I screamed, I apologize but at last i had your attention (I pointed the problem two times in the past). The french page is a disambiguation page containing many topics, only a few of which come down to the same topic as en:Genre. en:Gender (disambiguation) is not appropiate either, since only the grammatical meaning seems to be the same. I would prefer not to link at all the french article because of this. One basic rule about interwiki-links used to be that disambiguation pages are never linked to non-disambiguation pages. To be as neutral as possible, I will relate the views of TomTheHand as well as my own, as accurately as posible:

Tom believes that the term "Android" should apply to all of the incarnations of the Model 101, from Endoskeleton all the way up to the gestalts of flesh-and-blood and the combat chassis played by Arnold in the movies. He furthermore believes that the term "cyborg" does not apply to any of the Terminator's forms.

Thanos777 -myself -thinks that the Terminator is worthy of multiple appelations depending on which configuration (read: Type/Series) the Model 101 is configured as.

That is to say, I believe that the "Base" Model 101, just the endoskeleton with no cosmetic enhancements, is best defined as either a Humanoid Robot, Anthropomorphic Robot, or simply a Robot.

When the Model 101 is outfitted as a Type/Series 600, the endoskeleton covered by rubber skin, I believe that the Terminator is then most correctly classified as an "android."

And finally, when the Model 101 is equipped as a Type/Series 800/850, the endoskeleton with the living flesh-and-blood covering, I believe that the most correct term for the creatre is "cyborg."

Again, I respectfully ask you to come back to the "Terminator" Article and lend your input; those of us who are there in the Article's discussion page are engaging in a lot of back-and-forth regarding the different terms and the disagreements as to when they should be used.

Hallo Thijs, ik heb gelezen dat jij de "waakhond" bent van de lemma Onzevader. Eigenlijk had ik verwacht dat daar ook een Friestalig OV op zijn plaats zou zijn, maar jij hebt al jouw mening gegeven. Mijn doel is het OV te verwijderen uit een politiek en religieus neutraal artikel. Het gebed wordt gebruikt en gepushed als voorbeeldtekst. Ze zijn verplaatst naar wikisource, ik zou daar naar verwijzen. De Friese versie heeft op Onzevader ongeveer net zo veel recht op een plaats als Swahili en Tibetaans. Tuurlijk, het wordt in Nederland gesproken, maar Wikipedia is niet per land maar per taal gesorteerd. Of verwijs naar de Friese wikipedia? Overigens wordt denk ik het Onzevader gekozen als voorbeeldtekst, omdat dit een van de meest vertaalde teksten ter wereld is. Problem with fr:Nationalisme européen

Good morning/afternoon.

Your bot has added the following interwiki links (which I had previously removed) to the above mentionned page : [[en:Europeanism]][[it:Europeismo]][[nl:Europeanisme]]

The problem is that Nationalisme européen means European nationalism, and not Europeanism (French : Européisme). Indeed, the English article (I cannot read Italian nor Dutch) deals with a much broader concept than just european nationalism.

Could you please prevent your bot from adding these links again?

The reason was that on the Italian wikipedia there was still a link to this french article. If anybody puts a links to fr: again on any of these three wikipedia's, the link will be put back to all of them by a bot. The only solution would be an article about European Nationalism on either of these three, or an article about Europeanism on the French. However, I don't know the subject well enought to write any of these. Until then, people might put the link back, and the problem will occur over and over again, either by my or by somebody else (>200 interwiki bots). Hi. I have today noticed that all language wikipedia is having wrong interwiki about list of Croatia kings. Name for this page on Croatia wikipedia is Popis hrvatskih kraljeva (in english: List of Croatia kings). This list is for period 925 - 1097 when Croatia has been independant kingdom. For latter period there is Popis hrvatsko - ugarskih kraljeva (list of Croatia-Hungarian kings) which is 1091 - 1526. List which is now on interwiki is Hrvatski vladari which is wrong. This is not list of rulers of Croatia state but of person which has ruled with any province where has ever lived Croatia people. Wat je moet doen als je bijvoorbeeld links wilt toevoegen op en:, is dat je een bot-account daar moet aanmaken (en een botflag aanvragen), en dan die toevoegen aan je user-config.py . Interwiki.py zal dan vervolgens ook een link aanmaken op en: als hij daar een verwijzing naartoe tegenkomt. Dus voor elke taal een account (en meestal een flag), en dan kun je daar links toevoegen. The spanish pan plano has been linked to pita in a lot of languages. I wrote at the portuguese page that they should fix their own link, since it seems to be a plant article, while the rest are about bread. I would like You to investigate if the es: is the right type of bread. I think pan plano is flatbread in general, while pita is a specific sort of flatbread. Bot still doesn't respect noinclude

Thijs!Bot still adds interwiki links to templates without noinclude-ing them. This error was already reported several times months ago. Please do something about it, or tell the bot to exclude the template namespace.

(Ideally, the bot shouldn't have edited the page in the above example at all, because it uses the doc page pattern, thus interwikis are on a /doc subpage, inside includeonly tags. Maybe the bot could check for the existence of such a subpage? (The other option would be to check for the local version of the Template doc template, but that's difficult due to the poor state of the template interwiki links.))

I notice your bot have put interwiki links in various articles with this name. Unfortunately the articles in different languages treats different subjects - .e.g. in da: a film, in fr: an American newspaper, in no: a Norwegian newspaper, in sv: a tv program.

Hallo Thijs!, op het artikel Archibald Currie heeft je bot gisteravond een interwiki gezet naar een artikel op de Engelse Wikipedia dat over een andere persoon gaat. Als je de inleidende zinnen van de twee artikelen vergelijkt zie je dat er enkele decennia zit in het geboortejaar en dat ze ook in een ander landen geboren zijn. Ik nam eerst aan dat die bot-fout het gevolg was van een foutieve interwiki op de Engelse Wikipedia. Maar tot mijn verbazing heeft je bot ook daar in dezelfde minuut een interwiki toegevoegd naar het Nederlandse artikel terwijl er op andere Wikipedia's geen artikelen zijn over dit onderwerp. Nu vraag ik me af, waar dit fout gegaan is. Geen verwijt verder, want het is vast goed bedoeld en natuurlijk worden er soms foutjes gemaakt, maar ik dacht dat bots alleen maar gebruikt konden worden om interwiki's te plaatsen als de eerste link al gelegd is en dat was hier dus niet het geval. - Robotje 26 mrt 2008 07:31 (CET)

Ik ben bezig om de verwijspagina's pt:adrian en pt:Adriano (desambiguação) twee lijsten van interwiki te geven. Maar op diverse wiki's worden mijn acties terug gedraaid. En dan komt er een bot over heen en het is weer een warboel met lange lijsten van interwiki links.

In deze bewerking heeft Thijs!bot een interwikilink aangebracht die er een uurtje daarvoor ook al aan was toegevoegd -- alleen iets verderop in de lijst. Ik heb dat ondertussen al even gecorrigeerd, maar ik meld het hier even. Misschien moet je uitzoeken of er een fout in de bot zit, of dat het een toevallige samenloop van omstandigheden is, waar niets aan is te doen. Hallo thijs, ik zag op de overlegpagina van Andre Engels dat je z'n wijziging terugdraaide. Ook heeft hij een aantal redirects op de verwijderlijst gezet, maar die zijn afgewezen om verwijderd te worden. Precies zoals je reden ook is, mensen weten niet of iets met twee hoofdletters, twee kleine letters of enkel beginhoofdletter geschreven wordt. Please be so kind and set-up your bot so it did not any changes in articles on Czech Wikipedia, when there is template {{Pracuje se}}. It means that somebody is editing the article and other users (incl. bots) are asked not to do any changes until templte is not removed. Nee, ziet er hetzelfde uit. Echter bij deze gebruiker, die het artikel aan maakte, is het zo dat die achteraf wordt nagelopen omdat die niet aan de conventies voldoet. Meestal staat de categorie erbij ergens halverwege (vaak dubbel), en dan fix ik dat zoals ik zojuist heb gedaan met AWB. Maar laat maar zitten, viel me alleen op. Interwiki on Kin-dza-dza!

Hi,

I wrote an article about Kin-dza-dza! in the Hebrew Wikipedia. Interwiki link to it was added automatically to the English Wikipedia very quickly by Thijs!bot (but still not to the Dutch Wikipedia...). This is good, but i wondered - how did it happen so quickly and automatically? Earlier it used to take several days until an interwiki link propagated to other Wikipedias, and if i wouldn't enter a link to at least two Wikipedias it wouldn't propagate at all.

Did something change in the way the bots work?

It's quite important to me, because i do a lot of work adding interwiki links manually to articles that lack them and knowing how the bots work will help me do it more efficiently. (See also here: en:Wikipedia:WikiProject Interlanguage Links/Ideas from the Hebrew Wikipedia.)

Hi Amir,

At this moment my bot goes through a number of wikipedia (about 15) checking new articles regularly, and completing interwiki-links. It also adds an interwiki-link to the new page on a number of articles on other wikipedias. To save bandwidth it makes sure the articles is connected well, but does not add interwiki-links to each and every connected article (for some topics have more than 100 articles on all wikipedias and it costs a lot of time to add a link to all of them). Alfalfa

Ik zou je vriendelijk doch zeer dringend willen verzoeken dit lemma te laten staan en geen redirect meer aan te leggen naar de plantensoort die de basis vormt van alfalfa. In het Nederlands is alfalfa slechts de naam van de spruitgroente (ontkiemde zaden) en niet van de hele plant, wat bijvoorbeeld wel in het Engels het geval is. Waarschijnlijk hangt dit samen met mensen die Engelstalige bronnen gebruiken en dit verschil niet weten. Dit staat toch duidelijk uitgelegd lijkt me. Ook de afbeelding van alfalfa laat niets te raden over. Deze afbeelding is niet te zien in het lemma over luzerne. Zie ook alfalfa in de online Dikke Van Dale en luzerne in de online Dikke Van Dale.
