Zgodnie z decyzją podjętą w tym głosowaniu, symboliczne użycie polskiej flagi/godła powinno być oparte o uproszczone kolory HTML: white (#ffffff) i crimson (#dc143c). Obejmuje to m.in. wszystkie szablony i infoboksy zawierające grafiki flagi czy godła. Należy zwrócić uwagę, że nie jest to wersja wzorcowa. Polska ustawa mówi o tym, że flaga powinna wyglądać inaczej chociaż nie precyzuje wprost jak flaga powinna wyglądać w przestrzeni sRGB. Image:Flag of Poland (normative).svg jest wersją ustawową flagi przeliczoną przez Wikipedystów z przestrzeni kolorów CIE xyY do sRGB.
